Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. Aspen returned to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen in a unanimous vote. The loss put a mark on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a professional. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill as she was able to end her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight but Aspen won and beat Hoy by TKO. As for her final fight for Promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the 2nd. Then, in her third fight she overcame Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. The winner also got an extra bonus for her performance that night. Her first major fight in the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following a great back-and forth fight between the two fighters, was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her losing streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya during the third round of UFC at ESPN 7. In a recent match replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
